After the Catch what happens to the fish?

Upon the completion of your fishing trip we will clean and bag your catch for transport home. We recommend that you place the fish in a cooler on ice. When you get home with your fillets you should rinse them thoroughly with fresh cold water. Your fillets will be approximately 90+++% bone free and as with all fish beware of stray bones, prepare and eat accordingly.

Alcohol, Smoking, and Drugs

Most beverages are welcome aboard. We do ask that you do not bring glass bottles as they present a safety concern, and please no hard alcohol. Smoking is allowed only in the stern of the vessel, and we ask the you "pinch" your "smoke" and dispose of them in a can as to prevent polluting our lake resources. Finally prescription drugs are allowed aboard. ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE ZERO TOLERANCE and will be reported to the United States Coast Guard and proper authorities

Captain Jared Meyer and OutKast Sportfishing Charters are in full support of the "Zero Tolerance" program of the United States Coast Guard.

NO ILLEGAL DRUGS of any kind are permitted on board. All violations will reported to United States Coast Guard and other appropriate authorities.

Are Children allowed to come fishing? 

Yes. Children are definitely welcome aboard, as starting young is how we come to appreciate the outdoors. That being said children must be supervised by an adult (21 years or older) guardian at all time aboard the vessel. Please keep in mind that there are sharp hooks, slippery surfaces, and the potential of a pitching and rolling deck.

        Do we work with a mate on board?

        Yes. Fishing with a mate can increase the safety of your trip as they know the operation of the vessel, and their knowledge of the fishing grounds can increase the chances of landing on biting fish.
